The above announcement is taken from the Yalumba website. They have a whole page dedicated to announcing that all of their recent wines are now vegan. Even the 2L casks! The label at the top of the post is for my favourite bottle: the Sangiovese Rosé.
For those of us with a dairy allergy, vegan friendly also means allergy friendly, so this is great news for people allergic to the milk often found in wine. I'll go into this in more detail in a future post, but for now it's great to know that there is a quality, reasonably priced and widely available dairy free wine option available.
